MSc / PGDip Advanced Practice (Health)

Overview
 Develop your career with a professional/clinical course at masters level

Course structure:
Compulsory Modules: (20 credits)
 Leading Advanced Practice/Professional Competency

Compulsory Optional Modules: 60 Credits
 Choice of: Research/Education/Advanced Practice

Optional Modules: (40 credits)
 Non-medical prescribing (40 credits), or a choice of 2 specialist 20 credit modules.

Exit with PG Dip
Add additional Dissertation Module (60 credits) and exit with an MSc in Advanced Practice

 

Entry Requirements

Students should be:
– Registered with the appropriate professional body in the UK and should normally have a minimum of three years post registration experience.
– Be working for a minimum of 15 hours a week, in a role which is suitable for the development of an advanced level of practice.
– Normally hold a first degree. Non-graduates would normally be expected to demonstrate an ability to study at level 7.
– Students require the support of a workplace mentor who is educated to at least Masters level.
